Welcome to the official website of the What’s Next? Hospitality and Skills Acquisition Training Program, an initiative organized by the Lagos State Government. By accessing or using this website and registering for the program, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, submitting a registration form, or participating in the What’s Next program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using this website or registering for the program.


2. Eligibility

To register and participate in the What’s Next program, you must:

  • Be a resident of Lagos State or able to attend physical sessions in Lagos
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 45
  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration
  • Have a genuine interest in the hospitality industry

The Lagos State Government reserves the right to verify eligibility and reject any application that does not meet these criteria.


3. Registration

  • Registration is open from May 18th, 2026 to May 27th, 2026
  • Each applicant may only submit one registration form
  • Applicants may select only one preferred course
  • All required fields must be completed accurately
  • Submission of a registration form does not guarantee selection or participation
  • Selected participants will be notified via the email address provided

4. Program Participation

  • Selected participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions (online and/or physical)
  • Online classes will run from June 1st – 4th, 2026
  • Physical classes will run from June 5th – 6th, 2026
  • Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the program
  • Failure to comply with program rules may result in removal from the training without prior notice

5. Certification

Participants who successfully complete the full program will be eligible to receive an official Certificate of Participation from the Lagos State Government. Certification is contingent upon attendance, active participation, and completion of all required practical and theoretical assessments.


6. Use of the Website

You agree to use this website lawfully and responsibly. You shall not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Use the website to transmit harmful code, spam, or malicious content
  • Reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from this website without prior written consent

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, course materials, images, and branding — is the property of the Lagos State Government and its partners, and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. 10. Changes to the Program

The Lagos State Government reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any aspect of the What’s Next program — including dates, courses, facilitators, venues, or delivery formats — without prior notice, due to unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be informed of any major changes through official communication channels.


11. Limitation of Liability

The Lagos State Government, its partners, and facilitators shall not be held liable for:

  • Any loss, injury, or damage incurred during or after participation in the program
  • Technical issues, internet disruptions, or third-party platform failures during online sessions
  • Personal items lost, stolen, or damaged during physical sessions
  • Any direct or indirect consequences arising from the use of skills or information acquired during the program

Participants are encouraged to exercise personal responsibility throughout the program.


12. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party platforms or resources. The Lagos State Government does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or services provided by these external sites.


13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to this website or remove any participant from the program at our discretion, particularly in cases of misconduct, dishonesty, or violation of these Terms.


14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Lagos State Government. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or participation in the program shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Lagos State, Nigeria.
